Good Stuff - The Best Of Kelis
HMV.co.uk and Play.com have a new upcoming Kelis album listed. It’s said to be titled “Good Stuff – The Best Of Kelis”. As of now, we have no info, whether it’s a Europe only release, or if there will be any new tracks on the album. Sill waiting for confirmation from Kelis’ camp.
Kelis is also said to be hosting a new VH1 fashion design related show “Sew Good”. Several blogs have reported that some of the material has already been shot.

i luv kelis but i think it’s safe to say she can hang it up on da music tip at least for awhile. headz dat have come out at the same time and after her are doin way better than she is careerwise. like i said im a huge fan, but i was not and continue to not like “kelis was here”. she needs to get back with pharrell or do something ‘cause she’s about to be on vh1’s where r dey now

erg, i think kelis was here is her best album to date. as for pharrell..well, i feel that he never gave her club banger beats, alot of the music from her first two albums sounded the same and it was annoying that she had these great songs like mafia and popular thug but they were almost ruinned by the rappers feat. in the songs. i like kelis and maybe one verse from a featured rapper.but yea,kelis gets better as the years go by..to me that is

I disagree with Tee-Tee on the Kelis needs to stop her music thing. But I do agree that Kelis with Pharrell was better. Kelis first and 2nd album sounds alike but different to with songs like Perftect Day and Young Fresh N New. It doesn’t sound like any other album I have heard before. She’s never put out a album that I didn’t like and they all sound different but her last few singles sound like something anybody else would make.
But “Kelis Was Here” the album is good to me. The thing that I find funny and I’m sure she does to is the fact that she’s done things along time ago and people are now doing what she did and is selling more albums off it now. But Star Trak Kelis will always be speical to me because I could relate to it more on a personal level (classic lyrics). But I’ll always be loyal to this women because she is one of the last unique artist left.

This is just jive/virgin & who ever else trying to squeeze every last dime they can get out of her.Even though I shouldn’t support it.I am wanna see what there gonna do or if they put new songs on it.

I Do Not think “kelis Was Here is Kelis’ best album, if anything its her worst album yet. I have all three of them, and the last one is collecting dust. Albums 1&2 are the best, when she worked with the Neptunes that was the best thing for her, together they made classic beats and lyrics, nothing not even album 3 can top or match those days. I do not think that albums 1&2 sound alike, but that is my opinion. Again, nothing can compare to Kelis’ work with the Neptunes, nothing. She is uniqie and her styles are stolen from artists like Keisha Cole etc but we al know that no one can replace Kelis’ amazing style and uniqueness. Her intro on album 3 was disgusting to me so yeah, if she can’t make songs like before, when i admired her then she should hang up the mic. The solution is her getting back with the Neptunes, they all should just patch things up and once again create that mond blowing music.

No she shouldnt get back with the neptunes HAVE YOU HEARD ANYTHING GOOD FROM THEM LATELY AHH NOOOO she needs a hit who makes hits…… TIMBALAND does she need him or DANJA i dont think the music would sound like nelly furtados or jTs they could put a rock vibe to it or something i never liked her first 2 albums(except some songs are good)but they had the same synths drums etc. it got boring with tasty we got a glimpse of the real Kelis and kelis was here IS her best to date that album is really touching…kelis was here were seeing all kelis emotions on songs Love,Greed,loss,sex…ahh sex Lol
Kelis was here is LISTENABLE but still has kelis’s weirdness where her first 2 albums are way to weird and you cannot listen to it full unless you get used to the songs She doesnt need a best of she needs a new album than a best of becuase she will probably getting pregnant soon then she’ll be on hold untill shes 37 yeah so Get with Timbaland/Danja, The Dream, Rodney Jerkins, etc. than she’ll leave her mark!

Album 3 is not my favourite, but some songs are listenable and I have to agree with “nooo way” on everything that was said. Timbaland and Danja are ridiculously amazing producers, and Kelis would thrive if she worked with either of them. I love her sound with the Neptunes but they will probably never work together again.
