Kelis live & unplugged
One of the site visitors – Mark – sent me these amazing recordings from a Kelis concert in London, they seam quite old, but she sounds great. It’s Kelis singing only with a piano playing tn the background. I hope this will make waiting for anything new from Kelis a little easier. Enjoy.

i beleive i heard and saw the “in the morning” clip on youtube before but i may be wrong..it still sounds awesome and so does her cover of “hello”…wasnt too crazy about the bonnie rait cover that song didnt fit her well…kelis’ singing range is very underpreciated and her voice has a wonderful huskiness to it and her riffing ability is awesome..why arent these qualities displayed more often like on kaleidoscope(mafia, gameshow, suspended, in the morning, mars, wouldn’t you agree) ..i really thinks she needs to go back to her old style of straight r+b/pop sound..i know kelis HATES to be pigeon holed to one genre of music but her voice fits that style of music so well[forgive me kelis]..i just love it when kelis goes into a slow soulful ballad riffing and moaning and makes her voice go up in screeches and then down into my soul it makes me feel so good i just cant help but sing along with her…next time your on tour come to philly

wow…I’ve always been one of those people who said Kelis isn’t that great of a singer but I still like the feel of her music…but man was I blown away by her range and just how well her raw singing talent was in those clips. I especially love the lionel ritchie cover. I must say Kelis really CAN sing

kelis is one of d baddest artist out there. her music is real and you can totaly relate to her lyrics and voice. she is underated and would love for more people to hear here music not dose gabbage albums and music beyonce and alicia keys they are putting out there.

I love it, she has never put out a album that I didn’t like. Kaleidoscope was my favorite and this remind me of it. Her voice is so rare and amazing. I wonder if she will be hooking back up with the Neptunes anytime soon. They belong together, come on “Kaleidoscope 2” lol either way LOVE YA KELIS!!

ALWAYS LOVED HER. I LOVE HER NOW. Is there a way we can get these in mpeg, i want them on my ipod ASAP. Hey btw, a long time ago you had her song Oasis on your site, it was never released but i would so oh-LOVE to have that song in mpeg as well. …..pretty please? :)

This is Hot, Hot , Hot. I have always LOVED Kelis. Most of my friends listen to the typical R&B artists and thought I was crazy to like her music. This audio just proves that not only is she a talented singer but she has the ultimate style! Go ‘head Girl!!!!
